Are You a Candidate for Dental Implants?

Dental implants are not for everyone, but they can be an excellent option if you:

• Are in good overall health
• Have an adequate amount of good quality bone available in your jaw to support an implant
• Have healthy gum tissue with no sign of gum disease
• Do not smoke
• Do not abuse alcohol
• Are not taking immuno-suppressants
• Have not taken IV Bis-Phosphonate medication
• Do not have low sinus cavities
• Are able to wait several months to complete the implant process

It is important to note that some medical conditions can be especially problematic for dental implants, including cancer, uncontrolled diabetes, and certain blood or bone disorders.
