Gum health
A little bit of blood in the sink, or as the saying goes 'pink in the sink', is not something you should ignore. Usually, it's the first sign of gum disease and a possibly serious infection. When plaque and tarter build up, your gums are the first to suffer. Gum disease can lead to serious infections, and, if left untreated, even tooth loss.
The good news is that gum disease is treatable - I use deep cleaning techniques to remove the plaque and tartar. The important thing to know is that the earlier your gum disease is detected, the easier it is to treat. If your gums are irritated, red or sensitive, please visit your dentist as soon as possible.
