IACA Conference
We recently returned from the 4'th IACA dental conference in Orlando, and I have to say it was the best conference yet. I firmly believe the IACA is quickly becoming the premiere dental conference. For the past four years I've left each IACA conference saying it was the best one yet, and I believe next year's conference will somehow be better in San Francisco.
One topic that I found particularly interesting was how devastating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can be to a person's health. OSA can cause someones lifespan to decrease by as much as 20%. Dr. Bill Hang gave the lecture on OSA and treatment for it. Dr. Hang believed that OSA contributed to Tim Russert's early departure, and after he stated his case it was nearly impossible to dispute that.
