Facinating uses of teeth

Recently I ran across a few articles that had some facinating uses for teeth. The two that really jumped out is using teeth to get stem cells which has the potential to fix many problems that are currently untreatable. The other is restoring sight using a tooth and part of the jaw bone. That procedure is called Osteo-Odonto-Keratoprosthesis.


Stem cell procedures are many years away, but the possiblities are amazing. Eventually, it may be possible to re-grow a tooth that was lost.


Osteo-Odonto-Keratoprosthesis is currently being used now.
